If this sounds like the company for you, now is your opportunity. FYidoctors Prince Albert, located in Saskatchewan is currently seeking a full-time OPTOMETRIC ASSISTANT/RECEPTIONIST.
This position will be Monday to Friday (day shifts) between 30 40 hours. This individual should be willing to work in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment. We are looking for candidates that love working with people and who can provide exceptional patient care to our customers.
As an Optometric Assistant/Receptionist you will be responsible for the inventory management of eyewear products, pre-testing patients, dispensing, scheduling appointments, billing, and follow-up patient care. You will provide patients with contact lens training; frame adjustments and order processing.
The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork, good computer knowledge, knowledge of routine eye care, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Experience with high end boutique eyewear would be an asset, as would inventory management experience. Previous optical experience, contact lens training, and assisting clients with frame/lenses selection are preferable for this position.
