Facility: COMMUNITY HEALTH (MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES)
Job Description: Working out of the Community Services Building in Weyburn the incumbent will screen, assess and triage referrals to Mental Health and Addiction Services,  provide short term crisis intervention counselling to individuals and families as required, facilitate psycho educational groups and develop positive work relationships with community partners. These services will be delivered through a combination of direct service, consultation, community resource development and education.
The incumbent is accountable for overseeing smooth delivery of intake services and the delivery of referrals for services internally to the appropriate program and staff.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Social Work
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW)
Experience
Experience with, and understanding of Mental Health and Addiction Programs is desirable.  Able to screen, assess, triage, and refer to the approprate Mental Health and/or Addiction Services.  Able to analyze complex situations, and respond appropriately.  Able to assess and triage clients displaying severe emotional problems.  Able to establish positive work relationships with clients, coworkers, community groups and organizations.  Able to work independent of frequent supervision.  Able to demonstrate organizational skills and possess the ability to meet the demands of balancing clinical and administrative responsibilities.  Able to cope well with sustained, work related emotional pressure.
