Purpose of this project:
The purpose of this project is for the student to research and develop resources for the Martensville Information and Visitor Centre and the community. One of the fastest growing services at the Centre is for 1 on 1 technology help, focused primarily on new technology users and older adults, although all ages and skill levels are welcome. Currently, this service is completely individualized; however there are several topics that are emerging as common queries (ie. Using email, social media, getting the most out of devices, etc).
Qualifications
General office administration skills
Preference given to someone with firsthand knowledge of the local community
Leadership skills
Effective verbal presentation and listening skills
Effective written communication skills
Proficient with current technology
Ability to research and organize information
Time management skills
The student will help develop resources for the 1 on 1 computer program and other areas as assigned.

Wages & Hours:
$13.50/hour and 20 hours per week.

City of Martensville and surrounding area (some travel within the community may be required)
