Northlands College offers the opportunity to bring the gift of education to eager students in one of the most beautiful regions in Canada. Instructors teach courses in the areas of adult basic education, technical and trades, mining, and university programs. Minimal qualifications are a: Master's of Arts Degree in Humanities or Social Science field. The instructor will teach students university level courses in the English Humanities /Social Sciences which could include: History, Indigenous Studies, Women & Gender Studies, and Interdisciplinary Studies. The Instructor will also work in a learning centre environment to provide adults registered in University classes with educational support. This support will include assisting students with all their learning needs, promoting a positive learning environment, promoting learning skills and opportunities, and working as part of a team to increase student retention and success.
