The Town of Assiniboia is seeking a full-time permanent operator for its Water Treatment Plant.

The Town is currently seeking applications for a Water Treatment Plant Operator that has the MINIMUM certifications of:
Water Treatment Level III
Water Distribution Level II
Waste Water Collection Level II
Waste Water Treatment Level I
COPIES OF CERTIFICATES REQUIRED
THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY LEVEL POSITION
Responsibilities: Water testing, Record keeping, Maintenance of water treatment plant, pump houses and equipment, Maintenance of lift station and lagoon operation, and other duties which may be assigned.
Qualifications: Grade 12, driver's licence in good standing, computer skills, highly organized with good record keeping skills, Must possess a minimum of Level III Water Treatment, Level II Water Distribution, Level II Wastewater Collection and Level I Wastewater Treatment certification. Previous experience working in a municipal water treatment plant preferred.
Wages and benefits in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.
