Are you our next Team Member?
We are currently seeking a Mine Engineer II or III at our Colonsay, SK location. The successful candidate will be responsible for Mine Ventilation, Mine Gases, and Project Engineering. Project Engineering is to be completed as a need to ensure operations run smoothly as well for Capital projects. Ventilation being the primary task, the Mine Engineer is responsible for all underground fans and doors. Additional assignments may pertain to rock mechanics, mine planning, conveyor system planning, and geological or geophysical surveys.

What will you be working on?
* Control of all underground fans, doors, new panel set-ups and personnel concerns.
* Research and Development of new underground items to make operations run smoothly.
* Budgeting and receiving approval for large projects to sustain the life of the mine. This revolves around the purchasing of new equipment and ventilation items to match the years mine plan.
* Safety program support, risk reduction solutions, STOP, Housekeeping Audits, and EHSMS.

What is required for this role?
* Bachelors degree in Engineering, with a major in Mining or Geological.
* Registration as an E.I.T. or P.Eng with APEGS.
* 1-5 years of directly related work experience in the engineering field.
