Adecco Saskatoon is currently recruiting for an experienced Industrial Painter / Sandblaster to join our clients manufacturing company in North Battleford.   This is a full time, permanent role that will grow into a Lead Hand role where you will be mentoring and training junior painters / sandblasters.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
-    Sandblast and paint industrial containers and other parts and equipment.
-    Communicate with Shop Foreman about upcoming needs and prioritization of tasks
-    Performing routine and preventive maintenance painting duties
-    Inspect and maintain equipment, including completion of applicable documents and reporting of potential issues or safety concerns.
-    Clean up of work areas, supplies and materials

The Ideal candidate will have:
-    Previous experience in a similar role in an industrial and/or manufacturing environment.
-    Knowledge and experience with both air-assisted, airless, and HVLP spray systems is an asset.
-    Knowledge of paints, thinners, and epoxy coatings.
-    The ability to work independently and in a team environment.
-    The ability to communicate clearly and concisely; previous lead hand experience would be a definite asset

As a condition of employment, all new employees to safety sensitive positions must successfully pass a substance test within a two-week period of their hiring date. A criminal record check will also be required.

This role is located in the manufacturing plant in North Battleford and candidate must be willing to relocate locally to the area.
