WEBSITE DESIGNER AND
MULTI-MEDIA RESOURCE PERSON
The Saskatchewan Elocution and Debate Association is a non-profit organization whose objective is to train and equip young people in the power of words and critical thinking through debate and speech activities and resources.
SEDA is looking for a keen, detail oriented student to lead the redesign of SEDAs website, transfer its content to a new platform, and enhance the user experience. The successful candidate will also help enhance SEDAs overall online presence and assist in the development of multimedia resources for SEDA.
The successful candidate should have a keen interest in computer programming and web technologies, with experience with some of the following: CSS, PHP, Java Script, HTML5. Creative skills and experience with Photoshop, InDesign or Illustrator are considered an asset. At least one year of experience designing and building websites is required. Professional experience is not required, but will be given preference.
This is a 16 week Student Summer Works grant position based in Saskatoon, for a post-secondary student who is in school and returning to school in the fall.
