Summary:
The Communication Systems Technician is responsible for performing installation and servicing of telecommunications equipment, tower climbing, servicing, and construction at heights of up to 500 feet, antenna installations and alignment, radio and networking equipment installation, configuration, and troubleshooting, installation and configuration of telecommunication hardware, and fiber termination and splicing.

Responsibilities:

*Performing the installation and servicing of
telecommunications equipment
*Tower climbing, servicing, and construction at
heights of up to 500 feet
*Antenna installations and alignment
*Configuration of telecommunication hardware
*Fiber termination and splicing
*Apply analytical skills to resolve problems
and deliver viable solutions

Requirements:

-2 year diploma in electronic engineering,
wireless systems engineering,telecommunication
engineering
-Minimum 5 years field experience in a similar
position
-Ability to work in remote locations for
durations up to 21 days
-Must have experience installing WIFI systems
-Must have experience installing Cellular
Signal Enhancement systems
-Must have proven experience leading crews of
up to 10 persons
-Able and willing to work at heights of up to
500 feet
-Valid Drivers License with a clean Drivers
Abstract
-Preference for certifications in: BICSI, AMP
Netconnect, Leviton, Belden, Fiber Optic
