Heartland Livestock Services located at Box 367 in Swift Current, SK are looking for 2 permanent full-time general farm workers to start as soon as possible.
Responsibilities of this position include: cleaning pens, feeding cattle and tending to cattle, receiving/loading cattle, opening/closing gates, running down alleys to guide cattle through, processing (running through chute, ear tagging, etc.), misc repairs and maintenance, lifting is required when cleaning pens with a shovel, and other duties as they are required.
The rate of pay varies from $15.48 - $18.09 and benefits include health and dental. The successful candidate must have Grade 12. Candidates will be expected to work with cattle on a daily basis performing the above duties in an auction mart atmosphere which will entail working outdoors. Candidates must be able bodied and be able to work a full shift from 8 am to 5 pm or longer when necessary to complete an auction sale. Candidates with previous farming experience will be considered an asset, but is not required.
