Westmoreland Coal Company - Estevan Mine currently has a position available for a permanent, full-time Warehouse Buyer at Estevan Mine. Reporting to the Materials Superintendent, this position is responsible for a variety of tasks within the warehouse department and provides assistance as required.

Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include a wide range of activities including, but not limited to:
-    Competitively bids and purchases parts, materials, services and equipment at the best value
-    Seeks out new updated parts, materials and methods that may improve productivity
-    Establishes forward purchase agreements to establish best price and availabilities
-    Works with warehouse personnel to resolve shipping and receiving problems
-    Works with accounts payable to resolve invoicing problems
-    Provide additional support to the mine with other assigned duties as required  

Qualifications
   The ideal candidate will:
-    Three to five years warehousing or purchasing/contracts experience
-    MS Office,  systems and computer knowledge
-    Strong communication and organizational skills
-    Strong analytical skills
-    Ability to manage multiple priorities
