Description

Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the Director of Programs is responsible for the overall development, coordination and implementation of appropriate programs for children and youth as required in keeping with the core values of Boys and Girls Club of Canada as well as focusing on key issues and priorities of our community.  Duties include:
-    Coordination and management of programs for children 6-14 including the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of programs to ensure needs are being met, development of activity plans, evaluation methods and practice, scheduling of staff, and accessing necessary program supplies and equipment..
-    Special Programs- create, plan and implement special programs for the Battlefords Boys and Girls Club including, but not limited to, the Annual Christmas Supper, Indoor Hockey League, Indoor Soccer League, Take it EASY program, Gymnastics, Hip-Hop Dance Program, and Annual Thanksgiving Supper.
-    Hiring, training, mentoring, developing and supervising of program staff in order to maintain delivery of quality programs for children and youth and achieve expected program outcomes.

Additional duties and tasks will be discussed at time of interview.
