Reporting to the General Manger, the Loans Manager will be tasked with promoting and developing the Credit Union's lending portfolio.  This will include:

-developing policy and providing oversight to ensure lending policies and procedure are followed;
-providing lending services to current and potential members;
-ensuring all Credit Union activities are compliant with relevant legislation, regulations, and risk management;
-training and supervising new and existing lending staff;
-managing an effective collections process; and
-working with the management team to optimize and grow the organization.

Qualifications:
-strong interpersonal skills
-ability to work with and support a team environment, as well as the ability to work effectively on an independent basis
-thorough knowledge of deposit and lending products
-excellent oral and written communication skills
-post-secondary education and training are a definite asset

Compensation:
Salary will commensurate with qualifications and experience. Turtleford Credit Union Limited offers a full range of benefits, including a 6% matched pension and a variable bonus structure. Credit Union owned housing is also available.
