Northern Blizzard Resources Inc. is a publicly traded Canadian company based in Calgary, Alberta. Northern Blizzard was founded in late 2009 and is engaged in the exploration for and the acquisition, development and production of petroleum and natural gas reserves in western Canada.
We are currently seeking a Maintenance Administrator to join our office in Macklin, SK. This position will report to the Maintenance Superintendent and will be responsible for providing administrative support to the maintenance department. Key responsibilities will include:
- Creating, updating and maintaining maintenance documents and flowcharts as per approved standards
- Coordinating the on call schedule and communicating changes to 3rd party answering services
- Generating work orders and providing administrative support with work order planning and scheduling
- Tracking completed and in progress work orders and creating reports for field operating assets (FOAs)
- Managing general e-mail accounts and responding to inquiries in a timely manner
In addition to a minimum of 3-5 years of related oil and gas industry experience, the ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within the oil and gas industry
- Experience using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) an asset
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- High attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
