Educational Assistant  Permanent 1.0 FTE
Ecole Centennial School - Swift Current
Competition #2084

A full-time Educational Assistant is required at Ecole Centennial School in Swift Current beginning September 5, 2017.

Desired Qualifications:
** Educational Assistant certification or early childhood training an asset
** Interview will be required
** Ability and experience in working with children
** Strong interpersonal and relationship skills, and an ability to work in a team environment
** A positive and flexible attitude to change
** Patience and understanding
** Ability to do lifting as required
** French Immersion background and ability to speak French would be an asset
Duties may include but are not limited to the following:
** Willingness to meet the health and hygiene needs of children as required
** Based on needs of individual students, provide individual students with assistance in speech, motor, and language development and social and life skills
** Ability to work one-on-one and in the classroom setting
** Perform such other duties and tasks as may be required due to the specialized nature of a student?s particular education program
** Willingness to aid in the delivery of program components developed by the classroom or resource teacher
** Transporting of students as required
