We are accepting applications for the 2017 Harvest Season which runs from August until October. We have three positions available.
Duties will vary depending on the time period - will include operation of farm equipment such as sprayer, swather, grain cart, tractor, and semi/trailer. Other tasks include equipment maintenance and upkeep.
Possberg Grain Farms / Parkland Ventures is located 12 miles north of Humboldt, SK; and all related duties will be within a 60 mile vicinity of the business headquarters.
Applicants are required to have a valid class 5 drivers licence and a minimum of 2 years experience working with farm equipment. Preference will be given to those with a class 1A licence.
Work hours will vary depending on weather conditions and maturity of crop. Prior to harvest typical hours will be from 8am to 5pm - Monday through Friday. During spraying and harvest operations, hours can range between 12-16 hours per day.
