Support store merchandising efforts by ensuring the cleanliness and shop-ability of the lumber yard.
Sort, stock, move and load lumber and various types of hardware products and blocks.
o No merchandise is to be loaded unless there is a pink slip, which is to be handed in at the end of the day.
o All returns must be pre-approved by lumber manager or assigned personnel.
Monitor inventory on a daily basis for regular stock orders.
Fill orders and supply materials for customers.
Operate a number of power tools.
Operate a forklift, tractor and delivery truck.
o Trucks and forklifts must be maintained mechanically, washed, fueled and kept clean.
Make in town deliveries.
o Deliveries must be done on a daily basis.
Yard and building maintenance.
Sock must be located as per the computer generated locations. Locations will be maintained as needed.
All special orders should be tagged with a customer name and purchase order.
All building material listings must be handed into a lumber manager for adjustments (sheds, special projects).
Be available to assist with inventory count.
Other duties as assigned.
