Supervise food staff ensuring that they successfully carry out their job roles and responsibilities;
Prepare schedules and assigns tasks for cooks, kitchen aids, help, servers and other food workers;
Delegating tasks to staff in regards to the activities needed to be completed in the restaurant;
Ensure food service and quality control;
Estimate quantity of food and supply based on previous experiences for food service operations;
Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage ;
Act as the main contact for customers complaint and concern. Resolve problems and turns potentially negative situations into positive situations;
Train team members in safety and sanitation procedures;
Check restaurant for cleanliness and set up. Check service stands and aisle areas. Check tables for cleanliness and proper set up;
Make sure standards of hygiene is maintained and the store complies with health and safety regulations;
Maintain weekly operating reports and presentations to senior management.
