Description

Sask Central Victim Services Inc. is a not-for-profit organization working in cooperation with RCMP, providing assistance to victims of crime & traumatic events. The Assistant Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the development & management of the day-to-day operations of Victim Services in the Sask Central region & is armed with the attitude & skills required to respond to the needs of victims & help people in need.
The current office for this position in housed in the Kindersley RCMP detachment.  Additional work spaces are in Rosetown & Unity.  The office location moving forward will be influenced by the successful applicant & ultimately chosen by SCVS staff.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings & week-ends as required
- Must be willing to travel & have valid Drivers Licence
- Maintain high levels of Confidentiality & Integrity
- Educate the public regarding victim services & maintain a positive program image in the community
- Be available for on-call duties as required
- Provide direction & support to volunteers
- Willing to attend Training Workshops
*Must sign Oath of Confidentiality & Code of Ethics
*All potential staff must meet the RCMP Reliability Security Clearance & building access criteria
Skills & Requirements:
Related post-secondary education, equivalent combination of education & experience will be considered
