Dynamo Electric is a specialized electrical engineering, technical service and construction company providing design-build and maintenance oriented services to industrial and utility clients.
Our head office in Saskatoon requires finance and accounting support. This position will provide you with a unique opportunity to grow within our company as you help develop new systems to meet our strategic goals. This position will report directly to the Controller and will be responsible for performing regular daily accounting functions as well as key performance indicator tracking. Preference will be given to candidates with ERP system implementation experience, project costing and those that demonstrate an ambitious spirit and wish to grow with our company.
Responsibilities:
-Accounting duties relating to Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable and financial reporting duties relating to the organization
-Assisting in Implementation/maximization of new project costing system
-Tracking project costs and collaborating with various departments to ensure financial success of each project
-Assisting management in the achievement of strategic goals by creating, implementing and managing tracking systems for financial and non-financial performance measures.
-Meeting cyclical accounting deadlines
-Coordination of financial operations with internal departments
-KPI reporting for distribution and presentation to key stakeholder groups
Qualifications:
-CA or CMA designation
-3+ years of experience in a finance role
-Accounting experience in project costing
-ERP system implementation experience with an emphasis on project costing
-Experience managing financial and non-financial performance measurement systems
-Ability to plan and execute work efficiently and possibly under tight time constraints
-Advanced skills in Excel
-Crystal Report Writing would be an asset
