Description

the Swift Current Campus.  The instructor will plan, organize and implement instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages learners to develop and fulfil their academic potential.

Start date:  September 5, 2017
End date:   April 27, 2018
Courses:  ADMN224, MKTG228 and MGMT208
Total Contract hours:  208 hours (34.75 days)

Duties include:
Plan and prepare to instruct each day and present course material in a clear and comprehensible manner
Instruct theory, exercises and activities which meet learning objectives outlined for this program
Meet with the program coordinator to discuss student and program related issues
Classroom Management
Student Assessment and Needs Identification
Resource Management
Participate in Great Plains College events and training as required

Qualifications:
The Business Diploma Instructor should bring the following qualifications to this position:
-4 year Bachelor degree in Administration/Commerce; OR equivalent 4 year business degree; OR related 4 year degree with major or related experience in specialty area to be taught; OR Business diploma with Education degree with related experience in specialty area to be taught; OR Professional Accounting designation (CPA).
-Two years recent/relevant work experience (2 years in the last 5 years) in business environment in the specialty area to be taught.
-Effective Communication Skills
-Effective Interpersonal Skills  
-Effective Instructional Ability (courses only)
-Demonstrates valuing diversity
