Are you a seasoned human resources professional with significant labour relations and strong human resource experience? Are you looking for the opportunity to provide a comprehensive range of labour relations advisory and consulting services to clients in various ministries and agencies? The Employee and Labour Relations Branch, Saskatchewan Public Service Commission is interested in you!
Using your knowledge of trends and practices in collective bargaining, dispute/grievance resolution methodology and practice, Saskatchewan's labour relations issues and labour and employment legislation you will be responsible for grievance resolution and arbitration, negotiations, and contract administration and interpretation. You will also be actively involved in supporting clients in workplace issues, labour and employment legislation and human resource policy issues in the public service.
To be successful in this position, you must be client focused, team oriented and an excellent communicator and problem solver. Typically, the knowledge and skills required for the above position would be acquired through a degree in labour relations or related discipline with significant experience in labour relations and human resources. Experience with arbitration and collective bargaining processes is preferred.
