Description

Pro-Cert is currently seeking a Compliance Evaluator for Organic Food Processors. This qualified candidate will be responsible for providing organic certification to both new and existing certified clients by reviewing applications, inspection reports, labels, product formulations, ingredient suppliers, sanitation procedures and pest control plans as they pertain to both the Canada Organic Regime (COR) and the USDA National Organic Program (NOP).  This full-time position will be based out of our Western Regional Office located in Saskatoon, SK.  Pro-Cert is a leader in Organic Certification in Canada and the USA.

Key Responsibilities:
    Evaluation of organic processor, handler, trader and brand owner applications;
    Client contact and interaction via fax, phone and email;
    Reporting of certification decisions and issuing of organic certificates to clients;
    Evaluating corrective action compliance;
    Assisting the Certification Co-ordinators and the Certification Manager in the annual certification cycle
    Stay current with changes in COR and NOP standards
    Ability to work with various groups and demographics of people
