Manager, Financial Reporting

The Manager of Financial Reporting is an IFRS subject matter expert, responsible for leading the preparation and delivery of both internal and external financial reporting in accordance with GAAP for Concentra and Concentra Trust. This position requires comprehensive knowledge of Concentras products and services and works collaboratively with various departments in order to assess the financial, operational, and capital impacts of new products\transactions to recommend solutions that best support corporate objectives.  

This role provides guidance to ensure GAAP and regulatory considerations do not adversely impact new products and offerings by working collaboratively with departments and business leaders to assess product offerings, and recommend solutions to minimize adverse impacts of relevant accounting and regulatory standards on profitability and operations.  This includes researching, analyzing, and preparing accounting related position papers to ensure compliance with new and existing accounting standards, and presenting and explaining the impact of emerging accounting standards on the ongoing operations to senior management.

You will also provide expertise and leadership to support the achievement of financial objectives through hands-on leadership and expertise to deliver internal and external financial reporting in accordance with GAAP principles.

This role provides leadership, coaching and development of team members giving direction and guidance on work activities and priorities, and coaching and formally managing employee performance.
