Facility: BATTLEFORDS MENTAL HEALTH CENTRE
Job Description: This position is situated at the Battlefords Mental Health Center (BMHC) in North Battleford. The incumbent will report to the Regional Manager, Adult Mental Health and Addictions Services. As such, the incumbent will be working under the direct supervision of the Clinical Supervisor, Battlefords Mental Health Center.

This position requires a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)obtained from an accredited educational institution, along with a minimum of one year work experience in mental health counseling. However, a degree in Social Science, deemed acceptable to the employer will be considered in the absence of BSW applicants.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Social Work
Valid Class 5 drivers license
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Ability to adapt to changing conditions
Assessment skills

Required Qualifications continued:
A minimum of one year work experience in mental health counseling.
Registered Social Worker or eligibility for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers is mandatory.

A valid Class 5 Driver's license is required.

This is a designated field hours position.

Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement.

Hours of Work: In a 3 week rotation: 14 shifts of 8.00 hours
