Role:
This role supports customer and operational goals by providing hands-on training and supervision to all operations/warehouse associates during their specified shifts to ensure goals are met or exceeded including service levels, shrink expense, and safety.

Shift:    Evenings/Nights 8-hour shifts Sun-Thurs (subject to change). This position does require flexibility based on business needs and training requirements.
Role Responsibilities:
-Ensure a safe work environment is maintained at all times using Sysco Work Methods and observations. Identify unsafe conditions and act upon all safety concerns.
-Complete initial training and coaching of all warehouse associates on various floor procedures and positions. Ensure that training is primarily hands-on and experiential in nature.
-Train and certify associates on all power-operated equipment.
-Undertake ongoing daily monitoring of associates as they work, offering coaching as required to ensure that safe, compliant and effective procedures are followed on a consistent basis.  
-Ensure compliance with respect to annual training for food service safety.
-Monitor labor standards and error policies via daily and weekly reports. Create employee discussion letters (relating to training) as required.  Communicate all performance concerns to warehouse management team.  
-Assist with the coaching, mentoring, career development, training, and performance management of associates with the purpose of improving employee knowledge and skill level.
-Identify opportunities to improve upon current training and modify current practices to ensure continued improvement.
-Work under direct supervision of Warehouse Manager to assist with work flow, balance staffing, and monitor productivity and volume to ensure objectives are met.
-Ensure HACCP guidelines are followed.
