SUMMARY
This role will be responsible for account management within the assigned sales territory focused on the province of British Columbia and the Yukon Territory.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Generate outbound sales calls and close sales opportunities
Networking new customer contacts and opening relations with new and non-traditional target accounts.
Escalate sales opportunities to Field Safety Specialists when required
Follow up on opportunities generated from the Promotions Coordinator
Schedule sales appointments for the Field Safety Specialist(s) as necessary
Offer product and service solutions to meet customer requirements
Manage customer records in the CRM system
Provide support at trade shows and conferences
Sales planning and administration duties
Participate in product training and meet with vendors as required
QUALIFICATIONS
Post-Secondary Education in Sales & Marketing or Business Administration is preferred
3 to 5 years of experience in Inside Sales or Account Management ideally in the Fire and Safety Industry.
Consistent achievement of sales and forecasted revenue targets
High degree of computer literacy
Excellent time management and communication skills
Multi-tasking and organizational abilities
Self-motivated and a Team Player
