CBI Health Group is hiring Community Support Workers to service clients in the Saskatoon area. The CSW will provide assistance clients with development disabilities/mental illnesses who require assistance with community interaction, personal goals and homemaking. The younger adults will have possible behavioural concerns and the CSW will ensure their safety and their well-being in the community. Our clients can range from a wide variety of ethnic cultures and different age groups who will be cared for in a residential care setting.
We have part-time, full-time and casual rotations!
QUALIFICATIONS:
A satisfactory Criminal Record Check including the Vulnerable Sector Search that is valid within 12 months
Experience working with youth and adolescents
Food Safe Certificate is an asset
Experience working with clients who have challenging disabilities such as Autism, ADHD and behavioural issues, considered an asset
Current CPR level C certification
Current First Aid
Non Crisis Intervention certificate, or equivalent
Valid Driver's license preferred
Reliable Transportation
Be dedicated to providing the highest quality of client care
Have excellent oral and written communication skills
Be passionate about your profession
Have excellent time management and organizational skills and be able to work independently
Be empathetic with an effective ability to build rapport with younger adults.
