Job Description:

The Cook is responsible to prepare and cook individual dishes and meals.  This position oversees the kitchen operation, monitors supplies and ensures ideal food quality.  The Cook is expected to keep a clean and tidy kitchen and working area, along with abiding by safety and sanitation requirements, in addition to other duties as assigned.


Schedule:

The Cook must be flexible in availability, working 8 - 30 hours per week, including early mornings, evenings and weekends.


Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
-A minimum Grade 12 education is required.
-Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced team environment with minimal supervision.
-A minimum of 2 years' previous kitchen and food handling experience is required.
-Must possess, or be willing to obtain, a Safe Food Handling certification.

This position is contingent upon receiving a satisfactory criminal record check prior to the start date.
