The chosen individual will report to the Director of Finance. In this role, the Purchasing Administrator will work alongside our Finance and Operational teams to enter purchase orders and receiving documents in our accounting system, liaise with the accounts payable department, source suppliers in new locations, assist with company compliance programs, manage inventories, review and negotiate supplier agreements, monitor and maintain procedures and policies.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Previous experience in Corporate purchasing
Post secondary education in a related field
Knowledge of software systems such as Excel, Word
Ability to adapt and learn or accept as required.
Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
Methodical and detail oriented approach to work practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment, in addition to effectively carrying out individual responsibilities.
