Description

The Marketing Manager- Pricing & Forecasting is accountable to maximize profitability of the $100M business portfolio,  through effective budgeting, pricing and management of revenues and expenses.  Accountable to create, monitor and report all budgets and forecasts for the business market.  Develop a cohesive forecast across families of services/portfolios, complementary services, and consider total business with a customer, looking at margin history and opportunity with the customer.  Be the one person that sees all pricing decisions that get made for products individually and for individual customers in competitive situations across all products that touch the business Market.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Advanced Excel spreadsheet skills.  Ability to create complex models and analyze data using pivot tables.
2. Basic Database knowledge
3. Proven ability to manage staff
4. Business acumen.
5. Proven ability to manage budgets.
6. Organized, self-self directed, punctual, attentive to detail.
7. Foundational Product Knowledge - Understand the business products well enough to know which ones overlap in market and function.
8. Foundational Market Knowledge - Understand the Business market and competitive prices/offers sufficiently to provide
appropriate discounting, packages, and competitive price responses.  Competitive actions/reactions and competitive price analysis.
9. Foundational Organizational Knowledge  Understand the roles of stakeholders within Marketing, Finance, Sales, Operations, Network, Procurement, and IS sufficient to perform the specific accountabilities of this position.
