The division of Public Prosecutions is seeking a skilled, ethical, confident individual to work at the Regina Head Office location, provide comprehensive legal and clerical support in Saskatoon. Our candidate of choice will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a keen sense for detail. As legal support, you will type correspondence, reports and ministerial referrals; coordinate meetings and record meeting minutes; plan, schedule and co-ordinate travel and logistics for meetings and other events and photocopy and file documents. Accuracy and confidentiality in all that you do is a must in this position. You must also have an extensive Legal background as this is a combination position of Administration and Legal Secretary.
Using exceptional client service skills, you will greet walk in clients and telephone callers, providing them with accurate information in a professional and respectful manner ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times.
You must be a creative and principled individual who enjoys using your advanced secretarial skills. As the successful candidate, you must have the demonstrated ability to use a wide variety of computer applications and knowledge and skills related to office and administrative procedures and protocols, including the ability to interact with colleagues and challenging clients with diplomacy and integrity. You must have knowledge in legal proceedings, legal document preparation, GEMINI procedures and know the implementation and procedures of such. You must have knowledge and be at least intermediate in EPIC and CJIMS
