Loraas Environmental Services is currently accepting applications for a Sales Representative. Reporting to the Branch Manager, this is a career position with opportunities for advancement, development and challenge at an organization with a successful service and image.
Duties:
Responsible for customer service, retention, and territory development and management (ensuring accounts remain in good standing, adjusting service needs as required, etc.)
Identify top competitor accounts within the territory and build relationships with the key personnel in those businesses
Manage territory Accounts Receivable list on regular basis
Expect 80% of the day spent making face to face calls in the field, 20% of the day spent as office hours
This position requires travelling to surrounding municipalities on a daily basis (highway driving all year round)
Working with other sales staff, operations, and administrative staff in a team environment
Qualifications:
Successful direct sales experience in progressively responsible positions will be an asset
Capable of working in a team or independently
Customer service skills
Customer relations expert utilizing effective oral and written communication skills
Superior presentation, organization, and time management skills
Positive, outgoing, and customer focused professional
Proficient computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
Valid license and clean abstract are necessary
Some experience or knowledge of waste disposal industry or transportation sector would be beneficial
