kihiw waciston School requires a full time Teacher- 0.5 - Cree Language and Culture and 0.5 Early Learning Literacy Teacher for the 2017/2018 school year.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Education Degree
Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching Certificate
Cree Language ability considered Literate or Fluent
A strong background in Cree Language and Culture
Experience teaching the Cree Language to elementary school students
Experience providing literacy support for elementary students
Past experience working in a First Nation school is an asset
Criminal Record Check (CPIC) and a Vulnerable Sector Check must be provided with resume
Knowledge and understanding of First Nations Communities and their culture
Position commences on August 28, 2017
