The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS) is the governing body for the engineering and geoscience professions in Saskatchewan. APEGS mission is Achieving a Safe and Prosperous Future through Engineering and Geoscience. This is accomplished in the public interest through self-regulation and professional licensing. APEGS operates through a Council / Board / Committee governance structure supported by a dedicated member volunteer base and by staff.
The Registration Coordinator assists the Director of Registration and Director of Academic Review with the member registration process including applicant inquiries and follow-up, program administration and mentor program management. This includes assisting with communication and process improvement initiatives to improve applicant service and reduce / simplify program administration.
Candidates will have the following qualifications:
An undergraduate University Degree with a communications, marketing or business focus. Consideration will be given for equivalent education and/or regulatory / office work experience.
Office procedure knowledge with excellent interpersonal / teamwork skills.
A customer service perspective accompanied by attention to detail and pride in a job well done.
Ability to work independently with minimal direction and supervision.
Problem solving and superior computer skills and abilities including the use of Word, Excel and database applications.
