Cultural/ Summer Program Workers
The Prince Albert Indian & Metis Friendship Centre is now taking applications for summer students for the month of June, July and August
Position Summary
The Summer Program Workers report to the Executive Director in the absence of the Centre's Program Director. The incumbent is responsible for the coordination of the Centre's summer program activities. The position will assist the Program Coordinator in overseeing the work of volunteers and setting up programs for children.
Job Requirements
Must have been a full time student in University and continuing as a full time student in the fall
Must have a valid drivers license with no restrictions
Must be Metis (Exemption Code: E95-03)
Must have a valid current Criminal Record Check (CPIC)
Ability to work with children is a must
The ability to plan and organize your work without supervision is necessary
Should have demonstrated skills in working as a team member
Must have leadership skills
Good communication skills
Hours of work must be flexible as you may be required to work evenings and weekends
