Description

If you have an interest in overseeing all aspects of application architecture and providing technical leadership to a team of application developers, we'd like you to join our Systems division to work as a permanent full-time IT Architect in Regina.

In this role, you are responsible for the continually changing and highly complex information technology architecture required to support business operations. You will recommend, architect and oversee the development, maintenance and support of highly complex products and applications. Leveraging your specialized knowledge and ability to take a broad view of technology and its integration to support the business, you will be accountable for ensuring the technical environment is architected to meet current and future business needs. You are also responsible to research, evaluate, recommend, customize, install, integrate, test, monitor, and performance tune highly complex information technology products critical to the IT architecture.

To successfully perform the role, you will bring the knowledge & skills you have obtained from your diploma or degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, PLUS an Information Technology Accreditation applicable to job requirements [e.g. Certified Enterprise Developer, Sun Certified Enterprise Architect for Java, Certified SOA Architect] You will also bring the knowledge & skills obtained from your 8 years experience in application development and support.
