Living Sky Beef is a progressive beef cattle operation which includes a commercial cow/calf herd, replacement heifers, small backgrounding feedlot and haying operation. We are looking for a full time permanent employee who will work with us to maintain our 7000 acres of grazing and pasture land and our cow/calf herd. Summer duties will include grazing management, fencing, water development, identifying and treating cattle with health problems, and haying. During the winter duties include feeding calves in the feedlot, monitoring animal health and treating sick animals, managing winter grazing, and hauling bales. Previous experience with beef cattle and/or operating farm equipment is required. The successful candidate must also have the ability to work well with others or on their own. Long hours and physically demanding outdoor work are parts of this job. We offer employees the opportunity to learn and develop their skills on the job, but insist that our team members are reliable and self motivated.
