Responsible for the day to day management of all aspects of the Deli/HMR Department including: ordering, merchandising, customer service, labor scheduling & other sales programs within the department. Champion customer service & satisfaction through consistent application of store processes & standards. Execute merchandising programs including ownership for maintenance, communication & execution of store plan-o-grams. Ensure department budgets are met through efficient operation of the Deli/HMR Department(includes gross profit, wage cost, operational expenses & inventory) & are maintained. Adhere to company standards and ensure that company policies & procedures are followed. Responsible for all aspects of Employee relations including interviewing, hiring, training & on-going development & motivation of the team. Adhere to strict cleaning schedule ensuring a high level of cleanliness and sanitation standards. Three to Five years experience in a food retail environment. Previous management/leadership experience in the retail industry an asset. System skills required (E-mail, BOSS, SAP & PC applications.
