Description

The System Integrity Specialist will provide technical and thought leadership and expertise to the planning, development, implementation and continuous improvement of the TEML Integrity Management Program. Benchmark integrity performance and advocate throughout all levels of the company to generate understanding and acceptance of TEML's integrity management methods.Lead the System Integrity interface for due diligence and growth projects, and coordinate departmental activities necessary to respond to regulatory or operational changes

Position Responsibilities
-Develop, implement and maintain the TEML Integrity Management Program, including education of internal and external stakeholders on the overall program, and the strategies and methods employed
-Facilitate and coordinate identification of hazards and threats, assessment of risks, and the development of strategies to prevent, monitor and mitigate conditions that present unacceptable risk
-Manage the process and documentation associated with the imposition and removal of pressure restrictions associated with System Integrity activities

Skills and Qualifications
-Engineering Degree or an Engineering Technology diploma in a related discipline
-8+ years of progressively responsible engineering experience related to pipeline and facility integrity and operations
-Previous experience related to development and/or maintenance of management systems and integrity management programs
-Familiarity with CSA Z662, National Energy Board Onshore Pipeline Regulations, and Saskatchewan and Manitoba Provincial legislation
-This position requires a high degree of personal initiative and the ability to work effectively
-Exceptional organization and communication skills (written and oral)
-Strong facilitation, collaboration and negotiation skills to influence and drive decisions and results without formal authoritys
