Description

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is seeking a General/Anatomical Pathologist for the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada. This is one of two positions in the Health Region, both based at the Victoria Hospital.

The Victoria Hospital is a regional hospital, serving northern and northeastern Saskatchewan. The laboratory processes in excess of 1.7 million tests for more than 200,000 patients each year.  In addition to Anatomical Pathology, services are provided in Biochemistry, Hematology & Coagulation, Blood Smears, Blood Bank and Microbiology.  The funding package is generous in addition to the benefits. Funding is also available for continuing medical education and professional development.

Consultation services are readily available from North Battleford, Saskatoon, Calgary and Vancouver.  The successful candidate shall have or be eligible for certification in General/Anatomical Pathology with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan. In accordance with Canadian Foreign Worker requirements, preference will be given to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Canada.
