We are a family owned corporate beef cattle and feeder operation. In search for a permanent full time team member. Starting $16-$20/hr dependent on experience/education, wage will be negotiated. Full benefit package included after 3 months probation. Housing options available to the successful applicant. Specialized training in livestock husbandry preferred. Horsemanship an asset, stabling options available.
Duties include but not limited to:
-perform cattle health procedures and feeding
-assist in herd health vaccination program
-identify common disease/disorders and treat accordingly
-perform general farm duties
Requirements:
-valid class 5 drivers license, 1A an asset
-up to date drivers abstract
-experience with cattle a must
-must speak/understand/read English
-must have clean criminal record
-team player, willing to work longer hours during peak seasons
