Hours of Work: Part-time hours - 6:45 am  9:00 am and/or 3:30 pm  6:00 pm
Length of Employment: Contract  September 2017-June 2018, with the possibility of summer employment

Under the supervision of the Manager of Lumsden Childcare, Before and After School Educators will be responsible for the development and safety of the children as well as the creation and implementation of developmentally appropriate programming.  
This is a part-time contract position following the school year, with the possibility of summer employment.  Hours per week will be dependent on applicants availability.

Responsibilities:
- Providing a safe environment for all children
- Programming for children utilizing the Play and Exploration principles
- Be a team player
- Have a positive attitude
- Punctual and dependable



Qualifications: Education and experience essential.
- High School Diploma at a minimum with childcare experience, any post-secondary education in a related field (Early Childhood Education, Social work, Education, etc.)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Criminal record check with a vulnerable sector check
- Standard First Aid/CPR
