The ideal candidate is a shepherd passionate about Jesus Christ. This passion is based on sound Biblical knowledge, closely led by the Holy Spirit and daily shared to others through genuine connection and relationships. As a shepherd, he will deeply care about people. As a leader, he will set a Christ-like example and effectively communicate how to live for Christ, in the church and out in the community. As a team worker, he will strive to develop deep relationships with the board and the church members, helping them develop their gifts, knowledge and involvement. Also he will aim to build good relationships with pastors of other surrounding churches.
As our church is composed of around 40 people, with about 2/3 of those being young families, the ideal candidate will be family oriented. DCBC is a non-denominational, Bible-believing congregation. We are looking for someone that will move to Davidson. Davidson is a town of approximately 1,100 people, a thriving community midway between Saskatoon and Regina. Davidson offers a K-12 school, hospital, grocery store, library, hockey and curling rinks and much more. Multiple sports are played in town (hockey, curling, dance, baseball, etc). Farming is the primary industry around here with two big farm equipment dealerships, two major elevators, a chemical packaging plant and multiple other services.
