- Junior Accounting Responsibilities -

If you enjoy contributing to the financial integrity and growth of small business clients and leaders in the community, and are keen to build your career with an established firm, this may be the ideal opportunity for you!  

As Junior Accountant with a reputable Saskatchewan Chartered Accounting firm, you will:

- Assist in providing financial advice and consulting support to clients to support their business needs, growth and profitability.
- Aid in reviewing clients' year-end working papers, financial statements and tax returns.
- Work to build and maintain strong working relationships with clients.  Become a trusted advisor to clients in managing their files, identifying potential issues and recommending solutions.
- Work closely with mentors and demonstrate willingness to learn.
- Support the team in meeting financial deadlines.  

Education & Experience:  
- University degree is considered an asset.  Pursuing or interest in pursuing accounting designation will be considered a definite asset.
- 2+ years of progressive accounting experience.

Computer:
- Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel and financial software programs.

Personality/ Desired attributes:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Keen to assist in manageing multiple clients' needs, and work independently in a flexible and dynamic team environment.
- Self-motivated, high energy and customer-focused, supported by integrity and a strong work ethic.
- Strong communication skills, technical knowledge and takes pride in his/her work.
- Outgoing and results focused.
- Looking for balanced work-life, yet open to work overtime as required to meet financial deadlines.
