Primary Purpose: : The Experiential Learning Coordinator, as a member of the Experiential Learning (EL) team, will assist with the organization of quality service learning and practice experiences in community, hospital, and related settings, for students in the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program and the BSP program as required. Preceptor training is a major component of this position. This is essential in order for graduates to develop the appropriate knowledge, skills and attitudes required by the National Association of Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities (NAPRA) National Competencies at Entry-to-practice through Structured Practical Training and the Association of Faculties of Pharmacy of Canada (AFPC) Educational Outcomes for pharmacy graduates. In addition, the incumbent will periodically undertake project work and other duties as assigned where necessary to assist in the delivery of the pharmacy curriculum.
