Description

DSI Underground Canada Ltd's scope of business includes the manufacturing & supply of ground support equipment for the mining industries. Its systems are known worldwide for innovation, quality & reliability.
    
DSI  Saskatoon is seeking enthusiastic and dependable individuals to join the Production team.  You will be responsible for manufacturing raw materials into finished goods using numerous automated machines.

Duties:
-Performs general assembly tasks within the assigned work cell
-Packages finished goods as per customer requirements
-Assists Production Operator to ensure work cell goals are met
-Ensures the cleanliness & organization of the assigned work cell
-Cross trains with Production Operator on operating machine (Pin nut, Shear, Auto Assemblers, Nipplers, Pinchers)
-Acquires on-going knowledge of information included on work orders and records important information on time cards
    
Qualifications:
-Grade 12 Diploma
-Mechanically inclined with prior experience working in an industrial environment
-Ability to accurately read/understand a tape measure (standard/metric) & use fractions, decimal equivalents & conversion of the metric system (use of drill charts)
-Previous manufacturing or assembly experience & ability to operate forklift would be an asset
