As a member of the Population Health Branch, you will be responsible for providing senior clinical public health nursing leadership and supervision, and provide consultation, advice, support and coordination in the management of activities related to public health nursing and population health programming.
Specifically, you will have experience in:
- directly supervising Public Health nurses;
- leading public health nursing program development through a collaborative approach to address challenges and issues related to integration of public health and related community-based services;
- providing program and policy support on public health programming and related issues to health regions, agencies, Saskatchewan Health and/or other government departments;
- providing policy analysis and advice related to population health issues; and
- providing leadership advice and support on projects or issues respecting maternal, child and adolescent health, women's health, adult health and immunization.
The successful candidate will be registered with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses' Association (SRNA), and possess a Bachelor's degree in Nursing with course credits in Public Health Nursing complemented by significant public health nursing field and direct supervisory experience. You will also have proven leadership skills and a sound understanding of public health and population health theories and methods.
