Reporting to the manager, this position involves a substantial amount of physical labor and may require long work days and occasional weekend work. The job entails work indoors and outdoors. The ability to work independently as well as part of a team is an asset. Applicants must be physically fit, able to repeatedly lift 35 lbs or more, speak English and have a valid Driver's License. Honesty, reliability and maturity are required.
Manual labor includes handling leaf cutter bees and equipment, weed removal, cocoon harvest and yard, building and equipment maintenance. Wage will be based on skills. Carpentry, mechanical, welding and the ability to drive a truck and trailer are assets to this position, although not required. Accomodations may be available to the right candidate if required.
