Are you our next Team Member?
We are currently seeking an Applied Process Metallurgical Technician at our Belle Plaine, SK location. The successful candidate will execute and support various research projects under the supervision of professionals within the PBU APT Group. This support role includes completing required experimentation, data collection, analysis, and presentation of results as required. Test equipment procurement, setup, and operation are also a primary duty of the incumbent.

What will you be working on?
* Contribute to the attainment of APT goals by conducting experimentation at bench scale and equipment operation within refinery facilities. This includes experiment planning, equipment procurement and set-up, operation, data collection, and preliminary interpretation of results.
* Instrumentation operation and sample preparation.
* Communicate progress to supervisor and the group through report writing, presentations, and progress updates in both formal and informal meetings. Maintain IP notebooks and data collection to the required standards.

What is required for this role?
* High school diploma/GED.
* Post-secondary diploma or certificate from a recognized institution in a metallurgical, industrial or chemical related field or equivalent experience.
* 3-5 years of related experience is preferred.
